David's work seeks expression primarily to the Australian landscape in all its manifestations, this may include the outback, the built environment, and the sea. The work seeks to capture through colour and form that first impression on the artist, atmospherics, and light, the bright light of Australia.

David's Biography
Working both en plein air, for immediacy, and in the studio to refine the vision, the artist is constantly looking for an image that breathes life into a frozen moment in time and a connection with the viewer.
David has exhibited widely in one-man and group shows in Sydney and Paris. Finalist in several art prizes including the Pyrmont Art Prize (winner), Bondi Waverley Art Prize, Gosford Art Prize, and the Metro Art Award. Work is held in private and corporate collections including, Macquarie Group in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Paris, Winterthur, and Graz.
